Train Nursery Name Art — Steam Train
A little green engine pulls a carriage of animal friends, the name along its side.
About Train Nursery Name Art
Steam Train sends a friendly green engine with red wheels puffing across rolling hills, pulling an open red carriage packed with passengers: a bear cub, a fox, a rabbit, a raccoon, a duckling and a small elephant, with an owl in a peaked cap driving. The cream nameplate along the side of the carriage is where the name goes.
The scene is a finished storybook watercolor with delicate brown pen outlines, and the name is set in chunky rounded capitals with a light painted texture so it reads as signwriting — the picture itself is never regenerated. Safari Bus carries its passengers by road instead of rail. Landscape only, at 3:2, for a wide wall over a crib or a toy shelf.

Questions, answered
Do I pay anything before I see my piece?
No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.
How is my piece made?
With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.
How long does it take?
Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.
What if it isn't quite right?
Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.
What happens to the details I enter?
We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.
What sizes and formats can I order?
Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.
How long does printing take?
Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.
Is the name painted on the plate?
It is set in chunky rounded capitals on a finished watercolor, then given a light painted texture so it looks signwritten. Since the picture itself is not regenerated, the preview here matches the print letter for letter.
Do short and long names look different?
Hardly. The nameplate is long and low, so every name from one to twelve characters is set at nearly the same comfortable height; a short name simply leaves more cream plate around it. One space, a hyphen or an apostrophe is allowed.
Can I add birth details?
Yes, although they start empty because the train tells the story on its own. Up to three lines fit in the white strip under the grass: a full name, the birthday with the time, and the weight, set in a clean sans serif.
What is the illustration like?
Gentle storybook watercolor with delicate brown pen outlines, in green, red, cream and sky blue. Puffs of steam turn into clouds, birds fly alongside and small wildflowers dot the grass.
Which format is it?
Landscape only, at 3:2, so the train has room to stretch across the whole print. It suits a wide wall over a crib, a toy shelf or a window seat.
Is it only for a new arrival?
It works for any milestone. Add the birth date for a keepsake, or leave the details off and hang it in a playroom where trains are already a hit.
Will the name be spelled exactly right?
Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.
Why is there a length limit on the name?
Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.
Can I add the birth date, time and weight?
Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.
Can I order before the baby arrives?
Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.
What occasions is nursery name art for?
Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
How much does it cost?
Seeing your piece is free — you only pay if you order a print. The exact price of each size and finish is shown on this page once your piece is made.
