About Safari Bus Nursery Name Art

Safari Bus rolls a sandy open-top tour bus along a savanna track with a full load of baby passengers: a giraffe calf's neck above the awning, a meerkat at the wheel, a zebra foal and a lion cub in the seats, a monkey swinging from the canopy. The long cream panel down the side of the bus carries the name in chunky rounded capitals.

That name is set in real type on a finished illustration and given a lightly painted finish so it reads as signwriting, which is why the preview matches the print letter for letter. Screenprint Bus takes the same idea to a mid-century city in four flat inks. Upright at 4:5, with acacias and a pale sun on the horizon.

How it works

  1. Paint the panel

Type the name and watch it appear along the side of the bus straight away.

  2. Add a ticket line

Include a full name, birth date or weight in small type below, or leave the road clear.

  3. See your piece

It appears right here within a couple of minutes. Pick the size, paper or canvas, and frame — or change something and try again.

  4. Only pay if you fall for one

No deposit, no obligation — if none of the designs feels right, you owe nothing.

  5. We print and ship

We start printing as soon as you order. Making it takes 2–5 business days, then it ships from the print partner nearest you.

Questions, answered

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to the details I enter?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

Is the name drawn onto the bus by hand?

It is set in type on a finished illustration, then given a slightly painted texture so it sits on the panel like signwriting. Because nothing is regenerated, the preview on this page matches the print letter for letter.

Will a long name fit on the panel?

Up to twelve characters, shown in capitals, with one hyphen, apostrophe or space. The panel was measured so that even twelve letters stay comfortably legible on the smallest print; shorter names are simply set larger.

Are the birth details included?

They are optional and start out empty, since the bus already tells the story. You can add a full name, the date and time of birth, and the weight, set in a clean modern sans serif under the track.

Who is riding on the bus?

Baby safari animals such as a giraffe calf, a young elephant, a zebra foal and a lion cub, with a little monkey hanging from the awning. Acacia trees, a distant hill and a pale sun fill the horizon in sand, terracotta and sage.

What format is it?

Upright at 4:5, with the bus and its passengers across the middle, open sky above and the dusty track below.

Will the name be spelled exactly right?

Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.

Why is there a length limit on the name?

Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.

Can I add the birth date, time and weight?

Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.

Can I order before the baby arrives?

Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.

What occasions is nursery name art for?

Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
