About Scandi Safari Nursery Name Art

Savanna Shapes reduces the safari to soft flat forms: stylized palm fronds and round leaves in muted greens hang from the top corners, and a giraffe, a lion cub, an elephant calf and a zebra foal peek up along the bottom with dot eyes and rosy cheeks. A big rounded initial in soft clay sits in the open middle with the name written across it.

Initial and script are set in real type on a finished illustration, so nothing is repainted per order and the live preview is the print itself. Jungle Peekaboo is the leafier, more painterly take on the same layout. Two shapes, 4:5 and a taller 2:3, each keeping the leaves to the top quarter.

How it works

  1. Make the monogram

The first letter of the name becomes the big initial; you can pick another.

  2. Round it off

Add a full name, the date and time of birth, and the weight beneath the monogram.

  3. See your piece

It appears right here within a couple of minutes. Pick the size, paper or canvas, and frame — or change something and try again.

  4. Only pay if you fall for one

No deposit, no obligation — if none of the designs feels right, you owe nothing.

  5. We print and ship

We start printing as soon as you order. Making it takes 2–5 business days, then it ships from the print partner nearest you.

Questions, answered

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to the details I enter?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

What makes it Scandinavian?

Simple flat shapes with no outlines, soft rounded forms and a fine grain, on a clean off-white ground. The palette of mustard, clay, warm gray, sand and muted green is calm and modern, and it sits comfortably with pale wood and white walls.

Is the monogram painted?

It is set in real type on a finished illustration: a chunky rounded initial in a clay tone taken from the animals, with the first name written across it in a flowing script. Nothing is repainted, so the live preview is the print itself.

Which letters can be the initial?

Any capital from A to Z and many accented ones, such as À, É, Ö, Ł or Ž. A rarer accented letter falls back to its base letter in the initial, while the script name keeps the accent exactly as typed.

How long can the name be?

From one to fourteen characters, as you type them, including one space and hyphens or apostrophes. The script is scaled to sit across the initial whether the name is short or long.

Where do the birth details go?

Just below the monogram and above the peeking animals, in small serif capitals: a full name, the date of birth with its time, and the weight. Each line is optional and can be resized on the preview.

Portrait sizes?

Two: 4:5 and a taller 2:3, each with the leaves in the top quarter and the animals along the bottom edge.

Will the name be spelled exactly right?

Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.

Why is there a length limit on the name?

Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.

Can I add the birth date, time and weight?

Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.

Can I order before the baby arrives?

Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.

What occasions is nursery name art for?

Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
