About Balloon Arch Nursery Name Art

Balloon Arch lifts the letters overhead. One powder-blue balloon is painted for each letter of the first name and the row is curved into a soft arc across the top of the print, a crisp white capital in the middle of every balloon. Below it a single baby elephant holds the whole bunch of strings in its trunk and looks up at them.

The arc is painted for your order and read back letter by letter before it reaches you, so a row that reads wrong is painted again. Balloon Parade keeps the same balloons in a straight line with an animal on every string. Four letters is the floor here — three cannot make a convincing curve. Portrait at 4:5 and 2:3.

Prices start at $39.00: Canvas from $39.00 (8″×10″), Framed Poster from $56.00 (8″×10″), and Metal Print from $72.00 (8″×10″).

How it works

  1. Raise the arch

Type the first name; four to ten letters becomes four to ten balloons, curved overhead.

  2. Add the day

The full name starts filled in; the date, the time and the weight can follow underneath.

  3. See your piece

It appears right here within a couple of minutes. Pick the size, paper or canvas, and frame — or change something and try again.

  4. Only pay if you fall for one

No deposit, no obligation — if none of the designs feels right, you owe nothing.

  5. We print and ship

We start printing as soon as you order. Making it takes 2–5 business days, then it ships from the print partner nearest you.

Questions, answered

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to the details I enter?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

How do the letters get onto the balloons?

They are painted into the picture itself. Pressing See it starts a fresh watercolor with one white capital per balloon, and a reading check compares the painted letters with what you typed before anything reaches you. An arch that reads differently is painted again.

Why does it ask for at least four letters?

Three balloons cannot make a convincing curve, and the painting tends to compensate by adding an empty balloon or a solid band behind them. From four letters up the arch holds. For a three-letter name the flat balloon row and the other carrier styles are the better fit.

How long can the name be?

Four to ten letters, one balloon each. A space, a hyphen or an apostrophe stays out of the balloons and remains in the full-name line below, and accented capitals such as É, Ë, Ö and Ø can be painted. Anything else is flagged in the form before you continue.

Which animal carries the strings?

One young elephant, every time. Unlike the row styles, where a different animal holds each string, the arch is the work of a single calf standing under it — which is what keeps a ten-letter name as calm as a four-letter one.

What can be printed under the arch?

Up to three lines in a classic serif: the full name, which we start from the first name you typed; the date of birth with the time beside it; and the weight in kilograms or in pounds and ounces. Each line can be dragged, resized or left off.

Is it portrait?

Yes, in two proportions: a 4:5 and a taller 2:3. The arch needs height above it rather than width beside it, which is why this is the one balloon style with no landscape version.

Will the name be spelled exactly right?

Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.

Why is there a length limit on the name?

Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.

Can I add the birth date, time and weight?

Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.

Can I order before the baby arrives?

Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.

What occasions is nursery name art for?

Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
