About Dinosaur Nursery Name Art

Dino Balloons gives a first name to a small herd. One round watercolor balloon is painted for each letter, a crisp white serif capital in the middle of every one, and beneath each balloon a smiling baby dinosaur holds the string — a triceratops with stubby horns, a long-necked sauropod, a tiny T-rex — in sage, teal and warm sand.

The herd is painted fresh for each order and the letters are read back against your typing before anything is shown, so a row that reads wrong is painted again rather than sold. Balloon Parade uses safari babies and powder blue instead. Wide at 3:2 with a squarer 5:4, for the wall above a crib or a low bookshelf.

Prices start at NZ$75.00: Canvas from NZ$75.00 (8″×12″) and Framed Poster from NZ$110.00 (12″×18″).

How it works

  1. Pick the herd size

Type the first name; three to ten letters means three to ten balloons and dinosaurs.

  2. Fill in the day

The full name starts filled in; add the birth date, the time and the weight below it.

  3. See your piece

It appears right here within a couple of minutes. Pick the size, paper or canvas, and frame — or change something and try again.

  4. Only pay if you fall for one

No deposit, no obligation — if none of the designs feels right, you owe nothing.

  5. We print and ship

We start printing as soon as you order. Making it takes 2–5 business days, then it ships from the print partner nearest you.

Questions, answered

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to the details I enter?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

How do the letters get onto the balloons?

They are painted as part of the picture. Pressing See it starts a fresh watercolor with one white capital per balloon, and a reading check compares the painted letters with the name you typed before anything is shown. A row that reads differently is painted again.

Which dinosaurs come along?

A cheerful mix of young ones: a triceratops, a stegosaurus, a long-necked brachiosaurus, a tiny T-rex, an ankylosaurus, a crested parasaurolophus and more for longer names. They are soft and round, never scary, and a short name simply brings a smaller herd.

What name length works?

Three to ten letters, one balloon each. A space, a hyphen or an apostrophe is kept out of the balloons but stays in the full-name line underneath, and accented capitals such as É, Ë, Ö and Ø can be painted. Anything else is flagged in the form before you continue.

What can go under the herd?

Up to three lines in a classic serif: the full name, which we start from the first name you typed; the date of birth, with the time beside it; and the weight in kilograms or pounds and ounces. Each line is optional.

Is it a landscape print?

Yes. The herd marches across a wide 3:2 composition, with a squarer 5:4 version for frames that are a little less long. Both suit a wall above a crib, a dresser or a low bookshelf.

Will my print match the example exactly?

The palette of sage, dusty teal and warm sand stays put, but every order is a new painting, so the dinosaurs, their poses and the heights of the balloons change a little. No two herds are quite alike.

Will the name be spelled exactly right?

Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.

Why is there a length limit on the name?

Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.

Can I add the birth date, time and weight?

Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.

Can I order before the baby arrives?

Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.

What occasions is nursery name art for?

Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
