About House-Shaped Map Print

The House style frames your map inside a window shaped like a house, with a pitched roof, on a warm cream mat. Inside it, land and parks are soft sage and olive, roads are a deeper forest green at a fine even weight, and water is a calm slate blue. Everything stays matte and low-contrast, like ink on uncoated paper.

The streets come from real map data, restyled with AI, and the house shape crops the top corners on purpose, so frame the streets you want inside the roofline. Your title, names, caption, coordinates and date sit on the mat below, in real type. Unlike Round, which holds copper streets in an oval on navy, House is light and green, made for a first home or a housewarming.

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to the details I enter?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

Will the house shape cut off part of my map?

Yes, on purpose. The map is cropped to the house outline, and the pitched roof removes the two top corners of the area you frame. Keep the street or building that matters near the center and a little below the roofline, then check the result before you order. Reframing and trying again is free.

What should the title say on a first home map print?

The title starts as the place name and can be changed to anything up to 40 characters, such as "Our First Home" or the street name. Add your names on their own line and a date, such as the day you got the keys. Leave the house number out if you would rather not show your address.

Is it a real map or an artistic impression?

Real. The streets, water and coastline come from map data for the place you pick; the style changes how they are drawn, not where they are. A local will recognise their street.

Can I mark a specific spot — our house, the restaurant, the church?

Centre the map on it — that is the most reliable way to feature one spot, and you see the result before you order.

Can I have more than one place on one piece?

One place per print for now. For two cities — where you met and where you live now — make two prints and hang them as a pair.

What about a place that is very small, or very large?

Frame the map however you like — a village fills a frame as well as a city does. A whole region or country works too; very large areas show less street detail.

What places can a custom map print show?

Any place that matters: the city where you met, your hometown, the neighbourhood of your first home, a stretch of coastline you keep coming back to, the town you got married in. If it is on the map, we can draw it.
