About Stone Star Map

The Stone style turns your star chart into a single flat disc of midnight blue: no wash, no glow and no vignette, just small crisp white stars and hairline white constellation lines. The disc sits on a pale, stone-colored mat, so the sky reads as a solid shape of printed color rather than a photograph of space.

The mat is a flat color, not a marble texture, and your names, caption line, place and date are set in real type on the pale ground below. The sky is computed from a star catalog for your date, place and time, then styled with AI. Unlike the Heart chart's black line on white, Stone keeps a dark sky on a light mat, which suits a birthday, a new home or a minimal living room.

Is the Stone star map printed on real stone or marble?

No. "Stone" describes the color of the mat around the sky: a flat, pale stone tone printed on the format you choose. There is no marble veining and no stone texture on the print. The navy disc and the white stars are printed ink, exactly like every other star map style we offer.

How is Stone different from the Dark Navy star map?

Dark Navy fills the whole print with deep blue and uses silver-white stars inside a subtle circular frame. Stone keeps the navy only inside the disc and sets it on a pale mat, so the chart looks lighter on the wall and the text sits on a light ground. Choose Stone for pale or minimal rooms.

Is the star map astronomically accurate?

Yes. The chart is computed for your exact date, place and time from a star catalogue — the same stars, constellations and visible planets that stood above that spot that night. A real sky, not a decorative pattern.
