About Stained Glass Pet Portrait

A custom stained glass pet portrait from your photo: your dog or cat as a mosaic art print of glowing panes and dark lead lines. Each pane is one flat color with a faint inner glow, the way light comes through a church window, and the dark lines between them do the drawing, tracing the ears, the muzzle and the edge of every marking.

The background breaks into a looser mosaic of warm and cool glass. Fur is not painted strand by strand: a tabby's stripes or a white blaze become panes of their own. It is a print of a stained glass design, not glass, so it hangs like any picture on paper, canvas or metal. Our AI builds the panes around your own pet from your photos, and you see it here before you pay.

Prices start at A$67.00: Canvas from A$67.00 (8″×10″) and Framed Poster from A$72.00 (8″×10″).

How it works

  1. Choose your styles

Pick the looks you want to see and, where it matters, the pose.

  2. Add your pets

A card for each pet, with one to three clear photos; a well-lit face with visible eyes matters most.

  3. See your portraits

They appear on this page within a couple of minutes; choose the size, paper or canvas, and frame.

  4. Only pay if you fall for one

No deposit, no obligation — if none of the designs feels right, you owe nothing.

  5. We print and ship

We start printing as soon as you order. Making it takes 2–5 business days, then it ships from the print partner nearest you.

Questions, answered

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from your photos and details, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style, a photo or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to my photos?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Photos you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

Is a stained glass pet portrait made of glass?

No. It is an art print of a stained glass design, made with AI from your photos. The glowing panes and the dark lead lines are printed on paper, canvas or metal, so it hangs like any other picture. It will not let light through the way a window does, but the bright panes and dark lines still read clearly from across a room.

Which pets suit a stained glass portrait best?

Any dog or cat works, but pets with clear markings give the boldest result, because each patch of color becomes its own pane: a tuxedo cat, a tricolor beagle or a dog with a white blaze. Very fluffy coats are simplified into larger panes. A sharp photo of the face in daylight matters most, since the lead lines follow the eyes, nose and ears.

What kind of photo works best?

A sharp, well-lit photo where the face fills the frame and both eyes are visible. Daylight beats flash; eye level beats looking down. One good photo is enough — two or three from different angles help.

Can you put more than one pet in the same portrait?

Yes — add a card for each pet, up to five, with their own photos. They do not need to have been photographed together: each animal comes from its own pictures and we compose them into one portrait.

Will it look like my pet, or like a generic dog in that style?

Like yours. The style sets the medium and the mood; the face, markings and expression come from your photos. If a detail is off, add a clearer photo or a note and try again — it's free, and nothing is printed until you order.

I'd like a portrait of a pet who has passed away. Do old photos work?

They do. Scanned prints and older phone photos are fine as long as the face is visible.

What occasions is a custom pet portrait for?

Birthdays, gotcha-day anniversaries, a new puppy or kitten, a gift for the pet parent who has everything — and memorials for a pet who is no longer here. A custom pet portrait is what people give when flowers feel too small.
