About Wall Breakout Pet Portrait — Oil Painting

Funny personalized pet portrait from your photo: your dog or cat breaking through a wall, as an oil painting. Dog breaking through wall art has a simple, irresistible trick: the picture seems to have a hole in it. Your pet bursts head and forepaws first through a jagged break in a flat white plaster wall, fragments and dust hanging in the air, face pushed forward of the broken edge and staring right at you.

Impasto makes the illusion tactile. The wall is built from thick, creamy ridges of white, the torn edges curl outward in raised flakes, and the coat is laid in heavy, directional strokes that give the animal real presence. Misty Sanshui and Ink & Wash leave most of this wall as empty paper; this version builds it up solid. Our AI renders it from your photos as a talking point for a living room or office.

How it works

  1. Choose your styles

Pick the looks you want to see and, where it matters, the pose.

  2. Add your pets

A card for each pet, with one to three clear photos; a well-lit face with visible eyes matters most.

  3. See your portraits

They appear on this page within a couple of minutes; choose the size, paper or canvas, and frame.

  4. Only pay if you fall for one

No deposit, no obligation — if none of the designs feels right, you owe nothing.

  5. We print and ship

We start printing as soon as you order. Making it takes 2–5 business days, then it ships from the print partner nearest you.

Questions, answered

Do I pay anything before I see my piece?

No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.

How is my piece made?

With AI. Image models create new artwork from your photos and details, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.

How long does it take?

Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.

What if it isn't quite right?

Change the style, a photo or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.

What happens to my photos?

We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Photos you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.

What sizes and formats can I order?

Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.

How long does printing take?

Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.

Does the wall breakout effect work best on a white wall?

Yes. The artwork shows a flat, gallery-white plaster wall, so hanging it on a plain white or off-white wall makes it look as if your pet really is coming through. A thin white frame or an unframed canvas keeps the illusion strongest. On a colored wall it still works as a funny, eye-catching portrait.

Which photos work best for the wall breakout scene?

A front-facing photo of your pet's head and chest, ideally with the front legs visible, since the composition shows the head and forepaws coming toward you. Photos taken at your pet's eye level give the most natural angle. The expression you choose matters: an alert, curious face suits this scene best.

What kind of photo works best?

A sharp, well-lit photo where the face fills the frame and both eyes are visible. Daylight beats flash; eye level beats looking down. One good photo is enough — two or three from different angles help.

Can you put more than one pet in the same portrait?

Yes — add a card for each pet, up to five, with their own photos. They do not need to have been photographed together: each animal comes from its own pictures and we compose them into one portrait.

Will it look like my pet, or like a generic dog in that style?

Like yours. The style sets the medium and the mood; the face, markings and expression come from your photos. If a detail is off, add a clearer photo or a note and try again — it's free, and nothing is printed until you order.

I'd like a portrait of a pet who has passed away. Do old photos work?

They do. Scanned prints and older phone photos are fine as long as the face is visible.

What occasions is a custom pet portrait for?

Birthdays, gotcha-day anniversaries, a new puppy or kitten, a gift for the pet parent who has everything — and memorials for a pet who is no longer here. A custom pet portrait is what people give when flowers feel too small.

How much does it cost?
