Sleepy Safari Nursery Name Art
Baby safari animals doze on the letters under a crescent moon.
About Sleepy Safari Nursery Name Art
Moonlit Safari spells the name in cream serif capitals across a deep midnight-blue watercolor sky, with a few pale stars and a thin crescent moon above. A young giraffe rests a head on top of one letter, a leopard cub sleeps curled at the foot of another, and a baby elephant drapes a trunk over the word.
Behind every letter there is only plain night sky, which is the point of the design: the type is drawn first, the animals are painted around and over it for your order, and every touched stroke is stamped back. Gouache Safari is the daylight version in flat mustard and rust. Upright at 4:5 and 2:3, lovely in pale oak or brass.
Prices start at A$67.00: Canvas from A$67.00 (8″×10″) and Framed Poster from A$72.00 (8″×10″).

Questions, answered
Do I pay anything before I see my piece?
No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.
How is my piece made?
With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.
How long does it take?
Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.
What if it isn't quite right?
Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.
What happens to the details I enter?
We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.
What sizes and formats can I order?
Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.
How long does printing take?
Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.
Will the letters stay readable at night?
Yes, that is the point of the design. Behind every letter there is only plain night sky, so the cream capitals stand out clearly. The animals rest on top of, beside and below the name, and any stroke they touch is stamped back so the letters stay whole.
How many characters can the name have?
Two to twelve, shown in capitals, with a hyphen or an apostrophe but no spaces. Because the animals lie along the name rather than behind it, long names get cuddled just as warmly as short ones.
Which animals come to sleep on the name?
A young giraffe, a leopard cub and a baby elephant lead the cast, all with their eyes closed, in soft honey and dove-gray tones, and now and then another sleepy friend, such as a zebra foal, curls up beside them. How they settle around a particular name is painted fresh for each order.
What can I add under the name?
A full name, prefilled from the first name, the birthday with its time, and the weight, set in small cream serif capitals in the dark sky below the animals. Each line is optional.
Which shapes are available?
Upright ones: 4:5, which is the main composition, and a taller 2:3. The dark sky looks lovely behind glass in a pale oak or brass frame.
Is it too dark for a nursery?
It is deep but gentle, closer to a bedtime story than a night scene. It works beautifully in a room with warm lamps, soft blue walls or other moon and star prints.
Will the name be spelled exactly right?
Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.
Why is there a length limit on the name?
Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.
Can I add the birth date, time and weight?
Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.
Can I order before the baby arrives?
Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.
What occasions is nursery name art for?
Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
