Hot-Air Balloon Nursery Name Art — Hot-Air Flotilla
Striped hot-air balloons drift in a line, each carrying a letter and a passenger.
About Hot-Air Balloon Nursery Name Art
Hot-Air Flotilla gives every letter of a first name its own striped balloon, drifting in a loose line across a pale sky. The letters sit on round cream panels in slate blue, a baby animal looks out of each wicker basket — a bear cub here, a bunny there — and wisps of cloud float between the envelopes.
The flotilla is painted for your order rather than picked off a shelf, and a reading check compares the painted letters with your typing before anything is shown. Balloon Parade uses round party balloons on strings; this one is all canvas, rope and basket. Landscape at 3:2 and 5:4, free to preview and printed to order in the formats this page offers.

Questions, answered
Do I pay anything before I see my piece?
No. Seeing your piece is free and needs no card. You only pay if you order a print.
How is my piece made?
With AI. Image models create new artwork from the details you add, guided by styles our team designs and tests. No one reviews it before you do, so what you see on the page is what we print.
How long does it take?
Your first piece usually appears on this page in a minute or two, and the other print shapes and sizes follow a few minutes later. Add your email if you want them saved to an account.
What if it isn't quite right?
Change the style or the wording and try again — it's free. Nothing is printed until you order.
What happens to the details I enter?
We use them only to create your pieces. They stay private to you and are sent to Google's Gemini image service to generate the artwork. Details you add but never submit are deleted after 7 days.
What sizes and formats can I order?
Your piece is prepared in the print shapes it suits, so you can pick what fits your wall. We offer a wide range of portrait, landscape and square formats from 6×6″ to 40×60″ — framed paper prints, canvas or framed canvas, or metal prints.
How long does printing take?
Printing takes 2–5 business days once you order, then your print ships from the print partner nearest you.
Who letters the envelopes?
We do, inside the illustration itself. Pressing See it paints a brand-new flotilla with your letters on the cream panels, and a reading check compares those letters with your typing. A mismatch is repainted rather than shown to you.
What length of name works best?
Three to ten letters. Short names get bigger balloons with more sky around them; longer ones fill the row edge to edge. Punctuation and spaces are left off the envelopes but kept in the caption, and unsupported characters are flagged in the form.
Can I add the date, time and weight?
Yes, beneath the flotilla on plain white ground. The first line repeats the name in full and is prefilled for you, the second pairs the birthday with the time, and the third gives the weight in kg or lb and oz. Leave any of them blank.
Is every flotilla identical?
No two are. The stripes change color from balloon to balloon, the baby animals in the baskets are chosen fresh, and the balloons float at slightly different heights each time. What never changes is the airy pastel palette of blue, sage, butter and blush.
Which frames does it fit?
Landscape ones. We compose it at 3:2 and at 5:4, so it works as a wide piece over a dresser, a glider or a reading chair in the corner of the room.
Will the name be spelled exactly right?
Yes. On every style the name is either set in real type or checked letter by letter before the design reaches you, and nothing is printed until you have seen it. If a style cannot draw a character, the form tells you before you start.
Why is there a length limit on the name?
Each scene holds the name its own way — a balloon per letter, a board on the side of a bus, letters the animals lean on — so each style has room for a certain number of letters. If a name is too long for one style, another usually fits it.
Can I add the birth date, time and weight?
Yes, all three are optional. They are set in small type beneath the art, and on most styles you can move or resize each line on the preview. The weight can be in kilograms or in pounds and ounces.
Can I order before the baby arrives?
Yes. Leave the birth details blank and the print carries the name alone — a baby-shower gift that still works once the baby is home.
What occasions is nursery name art for?
Decorating a new baby's room, a baby shower or naming-day gift, a first birthday, or a keepsake for grandparents. The name is the whole idea, so the piece still belongs on the wall long after the nursery becomes a bedroom.
How much does it cost?
Seeing your piece is free — you only pay if you order a print. The exact price of each size and finish is shown on this page once your piece is made.
